Computer Woes
Okay. So yes, I have internet. And no, I'm not having to go sit in the public library, or my husband's office, so I'm grateful. But this circa 1980 POS I dug out of the closet is the crappiest thing EVER, in my opinion.  I may set it on fire when something better comes along, just for the sheer, cathartic emotional value.  It takes a full minute to switch between windows, even after I dumped a bunch of the crap that was on it.  But it runs.  *waves hands feebly*   Yay...

It's this POS, or the old laptop, which doesn't have an 's' on the keyboard. *sigh*

So there's that.

Anyway, I'm not complaining.  I'm very grateful to  seegrim and jandjsalmonfor posting things for me while I was down!  (Even though Deans mad at Pansy for leaving him off the guest list!  Yikes!)

Also, I've received Christmas cards from rainpuddle13, caramelsilver, lyndsiefenele, and a rockin' CD from reenie1.

Also, thanks to whomever suggested Game 6 to watch on DVD.  raynedayreenie1?  I enjoyed it.  :)

I have the best f-list ever.  Thanks, girls.
I feel:: frustratedfrustrated

You're welcome for the card, woman! Thanks for your cheer and sharing yourself in both an inspirational and fun way.

I can't take credit for the DVD. I will, however, send you more music...I notice you have a January birthday coming up. Tell me what you want, more specificaly, and maybe I'll make up a 3-disk set for you or soemthing!

Glad to hear you have access to us again.

Aah, you totally have my sympathies! I listened to your voice post about the whole thing and you sounded so sad and dejected...i would've been freaking out, if it were me. i was just realizing the other day how much of my life depends on my computer. it's really kind of scary.

hoping you get a new fancy schmancy working computer soon. that'd make it all the better. Sorr to hear that it's all kind of sucky for you right now.

I missed your voice post *hugs you* I've had to do that once - pull the antique computer out of the cupboard - and it just about killed me. I just kept telling myself I should be grateful to have internet access :/ Here's hoping your computer makes a speedy recovery :)
