I'm all about being social. But I had to Google who was playing.
In my defense, I'll bet most of you can't name four plays by Henrik Ibsen off the top of your head. (Ghosts, Hedda Gabler, A Doll's House and... okay three. Three plays by Henrik Ibsen)
Anyway, football makes not even the least bit of difference to me, except that I wanted to make cute little snacks to take with us. :D I also had to Google what a football looked like so I could make these:

Seriously. Are they cute, or what?

And Yummy. Nolan asked me if I'd ever seen a football. I stuck my tongue out at him. So they're more like FOOTBLOBS than footballs. Ask me if I care. They still taste good!
I made turtles at Christmas, and they were WAY too time intensive. So using a recipe I found online that I bookmarked on my laptop (*sob*) I did this:

I took these ingredients: Pretzels, ROLOS (you seriously cannot go wrong with a rolo), and pecan halves.

Lined 'em up, unwrapped them, put 'em in a 350 degree oven for four minutes and pressed pecans into the top of them.

INSTANT TURTLE. With a pleasant pretzel-y salty crunch. :)

So y'all have fun this afternoon, whether you're watching The Sound of Music (I wish) or the super football thingy. Happy Sunday!
