Hey, all you Draco/Ginny shippers!

rainpuddle13 has graciously turned the reins of the

ginnylovesdraco community over to me for a bit so I can bring you:

The Great Draco and Ginny Fic Contest, Winter 2009!

As in years past, it'll be a contest where your anonymously submitted story will be read and judged by a panel of Draco/Ginny shippers, with first, second and third places receiving REAL prizes. :D

Keep your eyes peeled for more information... I'm making some decisions and pondering themes, and looking for prizes to get before I announce the contest proper. And seriously, I'm so excited I could scream. :D

Your enthusiasm makes ME smile, and I've been falling out of love with Draco/Ginny lately. I like YOUR Ginny and maybe one or two others but the relationship in general is wearing thin for me. It's my own fault for pairing Draco with Faith (points to icon) from Buffy in my own world. Faith is sassier than Ginny (who is plenty sassy, I know) and less... ah... concerned with white hat business.

That said, I love a good contest and especially ones you put on. I won't participate, but I'll probably watch from the sidelines and cheer folks on.

My personal preferences aside, I'm happy for YOU that you get to undertake a project that gets you so excited you could scream. That's wonderful.

YAY!! I'm glad you're bringing it back! I was disappointed when Twilight ate Pud and she ended up not going forward with it last year. You'll do an awesome job! :D
