Lazy Sunday Morning

I adore Sunday mornings. Our church meets on Saturday night, so Sundays are wonderful, sleepy, lazy, don't-get-out-of-my-pyjamas-until-I'm-good-and-ready days. Last night I slept with earplugs in, which always assures me a fabulous night's sleep; unfortunately, I can't do it every night as I'll sleep right through my alarm clock. So I went to bed around midnight last night and woke up naturally at 9:30. Perfection. Seriously, my freaking cup overflows.

Currently, the boys are wearing Star Wars costumes (Ethan's Dark!Annakin and AJ is Luke Sykwalker, and they're sort of AU pretending. It's pretty entertaining. Nolan has finished the video game I got him for Christmas, Call of Duty, World at War, and after you beat all the levels or whatever, it opens up a bonus game at the end, NAZI ZOMBIES. (As if Zombies aren't bad enough on their own, Nazi zombies are even evil-er!) anethema_device warned me it would have him if he started, and I think we're on week three of killing those glowing-eyed, flailing weirdos.

In other news, the dgficexchange posted the big reveal! I won for funniest story and funniest line in The Art of Deception and the story that mynuet and I wrote together rpg style, The Halfway House, won for best Ginny, which was awfully nice after the business earlier this fall where it was said that I shouldn't bother writing her anymore. Just goes to show that one troll's opinion doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things!

Rehearsals start tomorrow for Over the Tavern, which is always fun, and Nolan and I are going to San Antonio this weekend to entertain business clients, so that's worth looking forward to, as well. All in all, it's a happy day!
