I think my karma's off.

As I was driving down our tree-lined street to take the boys to school today, I realized that something was wrong.  When I got out of the car, I saw that the right rear tire was flat.

Come ON, now.

Really.  Enough with the things going to hell.

Our retired neighbor was driving by so she picked us up and took the boys to school, thankfully. And now two guys from the shop are fixing my tire.  The ones that are supposed to working on the new house.  *headdesk*

Now I will spend the morning at the tire shop, instead of packing.  Signing is Wednesday, moving day is Thursday.

And we bought a spiffy new refrigerator and washer and dryer last night.  My threshold for happiness?  Perhaps skewed somewhat when major appliances make me smile.  :D

And in less time than it took me to type this, the spare is on and I'm off to the tire store.  Tra la la.

I hear:: Pandora Radio - I LOVE this!

Flat tires are a pain *pats* I hope the rest of you day goes well :)

I understand the skewed happiness major appliances can bring *grins*

Is doing a little dance when they're delivered inappropriate? I think not.

Woohoo for new appliances.

*pat pat* Tires aren't bad to fix... so long as you have some real tools. The ones that come with the car? NOT REAL TOOLS.

RE: New house
Almost there. Almost there...

*laughs*

They aren't real tools, and they aren't easy to find, either. Took like ten minutes to find the things. i didn't even know that the back seats flipped up like that. *shrugs*

I know. Patient for just a few more days. :)

Oh, Carrie. Hang in there. It's going to be alright! I promise. I only wish I could actually help with something! Good luck and call me if you need to vent. Although I'll be with the trainer from 10:30 to 11:30--perhaps you should wish me luck.

Ummm, I'd like to point out that I'm still glowing from my new kitchen. You are not alone in that sense. Hell, I could go hug my new dishwasher right now.

If you told me ten years ago a refrigerator could bring joy, I would have said you were crazy... Now? Oh, yeah. Joyful about the fridge. :)

*hugs* You poor thing. When it rains...

Just think of it this way, in a couple of days this will all be done. And, there will come a time when you will look back and laugh. Not anytime soon... but one day. :)

I know. When I'm lying in my new bathtub with a glass of wine and my instyle magazine, music playing softly in the background, I'll look back on all this and hope I never have to do it again. :)

Oh no! I hope tomorrow (and the rest of the week) go better for you, hon!

URGH. Why do things go wrong all at one time?

Yay for new shiny things, though! And for neighbours driving by at an opportune moment. And for the Cinderella house that awaits you.
